February 2012:

*Princeton CommunityHospital will offer childbirth classes on Tuesday, February 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th from 6pm-8:30pm in Education Classroom 3.  The classes are FREE of charge. Please call 304-487-7283 or 304-487-7074 to register.

*Open House will be held at Westminster Preschool at 2005 Washington St. in Bluefield, WV,  on February 9th from 7pm-8:30pm.  Registration for fall semester is being accepted.  For more information call 304 324-0987.

*Bluefield College's "Style Your Sole" party to provide new shoes to needy kids is Thursday, February 9th at 7:30pm in Shott Hall. RSVP in advance for shoe orders by calling 276-326-4256.

*Princeton Community Hospital will offer a breast-feeding class Thursday, February 9th from 6:30pm-8:30pm in Education Classrooms 1 & 2.  The classes are FREE of charge.  Please call 304-325-3926 for more information.

*As part of its yearlong "Celebration of Appalachia," Bluefield College will present "Appalachian News," a unique exhibit offering glimpses of history through front page newspaper articles and images, now through February 16th from 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday, inside BC's Art Gallery on the first floor of Lansdell Hall.

*The Diabetes Support Group will meet in Education Classroom 3 at Princeton Community Hospital on Thursday, February 16th at 6:30pm. For additional information, please call 304-487-7283 or 304-487-7074.

*There will be a 'Youth Rally' on Friday, February 17th beginning at 7pm at the Johnny Cake Church of Living on Route 52 in Iaeger, WV.  There will be singing, signing and skits performed by the youth of Southern WV and also free food & drinks!  Everyone young & old are welcomed to attend.

*A class on infant care will be held Thursday, February 23rd from 6pm-8:30pm in Education Classroom 3 at Princeton Community Hospital. The class is open to the community and FREE of charge.  Please call 304-487-7283 or 304-487-7074 to register.

*Bluefield College is looking for a few good voices. Local singers are invited to join BC's campus-community Masterworks Chorale for its spring concert. Rehearsals will take place on Mondays from 7pm-9pm in Shott Hall, in preparation for the group's spring performance coming up in April.  For more information, call 276-326-4258.


March 2012:

*The 1st Annual Bible in the School Sabika, Scentsy and Thirty-One Bingo will take place March 9th beginning at 6pm at Montcalm Elementary School...cost is $25.00...there will be awesome raffles and concessions!  For more info, please contact Susan 304-952-3811 or Shellie at 304-589-5202.

*There will be a spaghetti dinner to benefit pediatric cancer on March 9th from 6pm-9pm at the Mercer County 4H Camp at 1823 Glenwood Park Road in Princeton, WV.  Cost is $5 for adults, $3 for children and includes spaghetti, salad, garlic bread and a drink...for more info call 304-320-8619.

*The Bluefield VA Little League is accepting applications for the 2012 season now through March 17th for ages 4-18 accepted...visit bluefieldvirginialittleleague.com to download an application...forms also available at local schools.

*There will be a Low Vision Support Group meeting on Wednesday, March 28th beginning at 3pm in the Occupational Therapy Department located on the 4th floor of the Parkview Center at Princeton Community Hospital. For more information please call 304-431-5078.
